Vertiv’s latest report outlines its commitment to environmental stewardship, workplace safety, inclusivity, and responsible business practices through initiatives like high-efficiency liquid cooling solutions, low-global warming potential refrigerants, and innovative battery energy storage systems.

Vertiv, a critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions provider, has released its 2023 Responsible Business Report, detailing its initiatives and progress in environmental and governance efforts. The report highlights the company’s “One Vertiv, One World” plan, which aims to promote environmental stewardship, workplace safety and inclusivity, and responsible business practices.

Key efforts mentioned in the report include the expansion of high-efficiency liquid cooling solutions and the introduction of low-global warming potential refrigerants. Vertiv acquired CoolTera Ltd., a manufacturer of efficient cooling solutions, to enhance its thermal management portfolio.

Additionally, the company unveiled a new battery energy storage system with lithium-ion batteries to provide utility-scale energy storage. This system supports operational resilience and helps reduce carbon emissions through alternative energy sources like solar panels and hydrogen fuel cells.

The report also introduces the Vertiv™ TimberMod™, a data center solution that uses mass timber instead of steel, aiming to reduce resource depletion and lower carbon footprints. Vertiv continues to advance its operational efficiency by monitoring environmental impacts and refining processes, such as the implementation of a water reclamation system at its Monterrey, Mexico, facility.

In Asia, Vertiv is contributing to the development of efficient digital infrastructure and supporting the Singapore Tropical Data Center Testbed to address the unique cooling needs of tropical data centers.

For more comprehensive details, the report is available on Vertiv’s website.
