Global Virtual Event to Explore AI Applications in Engineering

Altair, a company widely known for its contributions to computational intelligence, announced the upcoming event ATCx AI for Engineers 2024. This global virtual conference is scheduled for June 20 and aims to bring together professionals from design, simulation, and manufacturing sectors to delve into artificial intelligence (AI) applications in product development.

A key feature of the event will be the introduction of Altair’s “100 Use Cases for AI-Powered Engineering.” This compilation aims to demonstrate diverse applications of AI in engineering, emphasising practical insights for engineers looking to integrate AI in their work processes. These use cases will highlight how AI can enhance efficiency, accuracy, and innovation in areas ranging from conceptual design to manufacturing.

Sean Martin, Vice President of Software Engineering at Altair, who joined the company through its acquisition of Cambridge Semantics, is slated to present. His discussion, titled “Integrating Data with Knowledge Graphs: Why, What, and How?” will explain the application of knowledge graph technology in building detailed analytics ecosystems. According to Altair, this technology is currently employed by several Fortune 500 companies to facilitate data-driven innovation.

The event aims to cater to a global audience by taking place across three major time zones: AMER, EMEA, and APAC. Additionally, live translations will be available in Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, German, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean, ensuring wider accessibility.
