Berkshire Grey (BG), based in Bedford, Massachusetts, specializing in AI-enabled robotics and automation for warehouses and logistics, announced a definitive business combination agreement with Revolution Acceleration Acquisition Corp (RAAC), a special purpose acquisition company. The new entity will be publicly listed with an estimated equity value of up to $2.7 billion. The transaction is projected to provide $413 million in cash proceeds, including a $165 million fully committed PIPE. Principal investors include Chamath Palihapitiya’s Social Capital and BlackRock.
