Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on 10 June 2024 is expected to showcase the launch of iOS 18 along with significant AI integrations across Apple’s product range. The event will likely feature updates on the Vision Pro headset’s expansion and potential hardware announcements, setting the stage for Apple’s future technology advancements.

Apple is set to unveil significant updates at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on 10 June 2024. The event, streamed live globally, will highlight the anticipated iOS 18 and other operating system enhancements across Apple’s product lineup.

A key focus this year is Artificial Intelligence (AI). Apple, traditionally reluctant to label its technology as AI, appears poised to pivot. Teasers from marketing executives suggest substantial AI integrations, possibly including enhanced Siri capabilities, AI-generated Apple Music playlists, and automatic assistance features. Rumors also hint at advanced generative AI tools, potentially developed in collaboration with Google and OpenAI.

Beyond AI, iOS 18 might introduce a more customizable home screen for the iPhone. Updates are expected across other Apple devices, including Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, Vision Pro, and HomePod.

Apple’s augmented reality headset, Vision Pro, initially launched last year, is projected to expand to new markets, including the UK, Australia, and Japan. The WWDC event may announce this rollout along with updates to VisionOS and new immersive content.

While WWDC primarily focuses on software, hardware announcements are possible. Speculation surrounds new devices equipped with the M3 or potentially M4 chips, especially for the Mac Studio and Mac Pro.

The event promises a comprehensive overview of Apple’s latest advancements, setting the stage for the company’s future direction in AI and broader technology applications.
