Apple’s upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference in 2024 will showcase advancements in AI with a focus on iOS 18 updates. Anticipated features include AI-driven Apple Music playlists and improved Siri. Expectations also include a more customisable home screen layout and updates to other Apple products. The event will be live-streamed globally for viewers to experience the announcements firsthand.

Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024 is set to take place on June 10. This annual event is where Apple unveils updates to all its products, with iOS 18 for the iPhone being a significant highlight. This year’s focus is expected to be on artificial intelligence (AI). Apple has historically used terms like “proactive” and “machine learning,” but this time, they will explicitly emphasize AI.

Anticipated AI features include automatically generated Apple Music playlists, better assistance for writing and coding, and an improved Siri that enhances user interaction and functionality. There are also rumors about potential collaborations with Google and OpenAI to introduce more advanced generative AI tools.

Beyond AI, iOS 18 might offer a more customizable home screen layout. As usual, other Apple products, including Macs, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and HomePod, will also receive updates.

Additionally, the Vision Pro augmented reality headset, initially introduced at last year’s WWDC and released in February, is expected to be announced for markets like the UK, Australia, Japan, and China. Apple might also introduce new professional hardware equipped with the M4 chip.

WWDC will be live-streamed worldwide, allowing viewers to witness these updates firsthand.
