AvePoint Secures Award in Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards for 2024

Jersey City, NJ – AvePoint, Inc., a leader in data management and data governance, has been recognised in the 2024 Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards, securing its sixth overall win and claiming victory in the Education category. The announcement came as part of Microsoft’s annual partner recognition programme, highlighting exceptional contributions to the development and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.

The Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards celebrate the innovative solutions and services that partners deliver using Microsoft technologies. This year’s contest saw over 4,700 nominations from more than 100 countries. AvePoint’s achievement underscores its commitment to enhancing educational experiences through technological innovation, particularly with its AI-powered platform, MaivenPoint.

Dr. Tianyi Jiang, CEO and Co-Founder of AvePoint, emphasised the company’s dedication to leveraging AI for educational advancement. “At AvePoint, we believe that empowering organisations to safely and effectively use technologies in the Microsoft Cloud, including Copilot for Microsoft 365, is the cornerstone of a more productive and innovative workforce,” Jiang stated. He added that the company focuses on responsible AI governance to ensure positive outcomes for learners.

AvePoint’s MaivenPoint platform has been instrumental in various educational settings, including developing an AI chatbot for Fairfield Primary School to support language learning and students’ social and emotional well-being. Additionally, partnerships with NTUC LearningHub and the Singapore Quality Institute aim to optimise workforce training and automate learning experiences, reportedly saving over 2,500 hours annually.

Nicole Dezen, Chief Partner Officer and Corporate Vice President at Microsoft, applauded the creativity and impact of this year’s awardees. “The momentum generated by numerous AI & Copilot announcements this year fueled innovation from our partners, enabling groundbreaking services and solutions to customers,” Dezen noted.

The recognition is part of a broader trend where AI and cloud technologies are revolutionising educational approaches. This shift is particularly significant in the context of a post-pandemic world where hybrid and remote learning models have become an integral part of education systems globally. The success of AvePoint and similar companies illustrates the growing importance of AI-driven tools in educational frameworks, providing personalised and scalable learning solutions.

AvePoint’s achievements are not confined to global accolades. The company was also recognised regionally, winning the Microsoft Singapore Partner of the Year Awards in the categories of Education Industry and Future of Work Transformation, Modern Work. This regional prowess further accentuates AvePoint’s comprehensive influence across different educational and workforce training landscapes.

The upcoming digital event, MCAPS for Partners, scheduled for July 10th and 11th, will host a formal recognition of this year’s award winners. Following this, in-person celebrations are planned during the Microsoft Ignite event in November.

With over two decades of partnership with Microsoft, AvePoint continues to expand its capabilities and offerings. Notably, the company is a Microsoft Content AI Partner and has pioneered integrations including Microsoft 365 Backup Storage. These advancements reflect AvePoint’s ongoing efforts to enhance data management and governance solutions.

AvePoint’s consistent recognition in such prestigious awards signifies a robust commitment to innovation and excellence in leveraging Microsoft technologies. As educational institutions and businesses navigate the complexities of digital transformation, the role of AI and cloud services remains crucial in shaping effective and forward-looking strategies.
