The enhancements aim to combat sophisticated cyber threats and provide early threat detection, with a focus on supporting small and medium-sized businesses.
Binary Defense has unveiled several updates to its BDVision managed endpoint solution, aimed at improving security measures for both large enterprises and small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Among the key enhancements are the inclusion of deception technology, artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled behaviour-based threat detection, and accessibility features designed to facilitate use by SMBs.
The launch comes at a crucial time as organisations of all sizes are experiencing an uptick in sophisticated cyber threats. The newly updated BDVision aims to identify and mitigate these risks more effectively, enabling earlier disruption of potential threats and enhancing the detection of elusive dangers such as fileless malware.

In terms of threat detection, the BDVision platform leverages advanced AI learning models to identify both well-known and emerging threats. The use of behaviour-based algorithms enables the system to correlate subtle indicators of compromise, detect anomalies, and spot new attack vectors. This AI-enabled detection goes beyond traditional endpoint solutions and antivirus software, which typically only identify known threats.
Moreover, Binary Defense is making its BDVision mEDR solution available to smaller organisations through the new Vision On Demand offering. This service provides 24/7 endpoint protection and containment and includes the same deception and behaviour-based detection capabilities as those available to larger enterprises. The solution aims to be accessible, with a “nano-agent” that can be deployed within minutes on company endpoints.
To add an extra layer of security for SMBs, Vision On Demand is part of the “360 Protect” initiative, covered by the Cysurance Certification and Warranty Program. This programme offers a financial safety net for remediation activities, including $1 million in reimbursements that can be used for activities such as addressing ransomware attacks, business email compromise events, compliance penalties, and business income loss. The initiative also provides access to $1 million in “Lloyds Syndicate” cyber insurance programmes offered by Cysurance at discounted rates.
BDVision can be implemented to complement existing endpoint solutions, providing an additional layer of security. The platform is designed to monitor for signs of evasion and alert defenders immediately if threat actors attempt to circumvent existing EDR or other security tools.
