CLARA Analytics Expands Leadership Team With New Executive Hires

Sunnyvale, Calif. – CLARA Analytics, a company at the forefront of artificial intelligence (AI) in insurance claims optimisation, has announced the appointment of Robin Spaulding as Chief Insurance Officer and Greg Toll as Vice President of Sales for Self-Insured. These significant additions bolster the company’s leadership with substantial industry expertise.

The executive hires come during a period of recognition for CLARA, having recently been named one of the World’s Top Insurtech Companies for 2024 by CNBC and Statista. CLARA’s AI platform enhances claims efficiency and decision-making for clients.

Spaulding brings a wealth of experience in property and casualty insurance. Her extensive background spans roles from claim representative to Divisional Vice President of Claims at major insurance firms. Notably, she led the claims division for Capgemini’s insurance practice before joining CLARA. In her new role, she aims to guide clients in effectively utilising AI to transform their claims operations.

Toll, with a robust track record in sales and revenue growth within the insurance sector, steps into the role of Vice President of Sales for Self-Insured. His previous positions include senior leadership roles at Marsh, Broadspire, and York Risk, among others. Toll’s career began in claims management, positioning him well to support CLARA’s aggressive expansion into the self-insured market.

CLARA Analytics focuses on leveraging AI to improve the accuracy and efficiency of casualty claims processes. The company’s platform employs advanced techniques such as image recognition and natural language processing to generate insights from various claim documents, ultimately aiming to reduce costs and enhance outcomes for insurers and claimants.

In showcasing their capabilities, CLARA will introduce their new CLARA Fraud product at the upcoming Celent Generative AI Symposium in New York. The company’s session is scheduled for September 18th.

Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Silicon Valley, CLARA Analytics serves a broad range of clients including top global insurance carriers and third-party administrators. The firm continues to push the boundaries of AI application in insurance, aiming to address significant industry challenges and shape the future of claims management.
