The world’s first beauty pageant for AI-generated women has announced its shortlist of finalists competing for the title of “Miss AI.” The competition, known as the Fanvue World AI Creator Awards, saw 1,500 entrants, with the final 10 vying for recognition based on beauty, technology, and social media influence.

This innovative event is hosted by Fanvue, a platform where AI creators can share their work, sometimes behind a paywall. The prize pool totals $20,000, with the winner receiving $5,000 in cash along with perks and promotions on the Fanvue platform.

The finalists include a diverse range of AI creations from various countries. Notable entrants are Olivia C, a travel influencer; Kenza Layli, an advocate for women’s empowerment in Morocco; and Seren Ay, Turkey’s first AI brand ambassador who also portrays time-traveling escapades. Other contenders include Zara Shatavari, who raises awareness about hormonal imbalances, and Aiyana Rainbow, a Romanian AI championing LGBT rights.

Contestants will be judged not only on their visual appeal but also on their technological sophistication and social causes they support. The finalists’ social media followings range from a few thousand to over 190,000, indicating a significant online presence.

Fanvue co-founder Will Monange likened the World AI Creator Award (WAICA) to the Oscars of the AI space, emphasizing the high engagement and quality of the entries. The AI creator industry is expected to grow significantly, with Fanvue estimating its value could reach £1 billion by year’s end. Contestants come from countries including France, Morocco, India, and Bangladesh, highlighting the global appeal and potential of AI-generated influencers.
