Formula E and Infosys Partner to Revolutionise Fan Engagement and Sustainability

Formula E and Infosys have joined forces in a three-year partnership, aiming to elevate fan engagement and environmental sustainability in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship through innovative digital solutions.

In May 2024, Formula E announced a three-year partnership with Infosys, a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting. This collaboration positions Infosys as the Official Digital Innovation Partner for the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, focusing on fan growth, technology innovation, and environmental stewardship.

Key areas of the partnership include the development of an AI-powered Fan Customer Data Platform to engage 500 million fans by 2030 and the enhancement of real-time in-race insights and driver statistics using Infosys’ AI-first suite, Infosys Topaz. Furthermore, Infosys aims to support Formula E’s carbon reduction target by transforming its carbon reporting capabilities with AI.

Jeff Dodds, CEO of Formula E, expressed enthusiasm about leveraging Infosys’ technological expertise to enhance fan experiences and sustainability. Sumit Virmani, EVP & Global CMO of Infosys, highlighted the shared commitment to sustainability and innovation. Tiziana Di Gioia, Chief Revenue Officer of Formula E, underscored the partnership’s role in expanding the audience and driving revenue growth.
