The third national conference on Generative Artificial Intelligence in Education, GenAIEdu 2024, commences today at Ulster University’s Derry campus. The three-day event, running until Friday, brings together international experts, researchers, educators, students, and industry professionals to explore the future of AI in the education sector.

Hosted by the School of Computing, Engineering, and Intelligent Systems, the conference aims to prepare the region for the rapid adoption of AI. Highlighted activities include a practitioner showcase where local teachers will demonstrate best practices in classroom AI usage to enhance AI literacy and future employability prospects.
