Unveiling of Stalker 5.0 Maritime Drone in Odesa
In another event, the Black Sea Security Forum 2024, held in Odesa, Ukraine, saw the introduction of the Stalker 5.0 maritime drone. Reported by journalist Andriy Tsaplienko, the 5-meter-long and 1.2-meter-wide unmanned boat is designed for multiple maritime tasks, including delivering supplies and conducting reconnaissance. Powered by a 60 horsepower gasoline engine, it can achieve speeds of over 40 knots (approximately 75 km/h) with a cruising speed of 30 knots (55 km/h). Featuring an advanced control system based on Starlink, it ensures stable communication in remote areas. The construction of one drone costs around 60,000 euros.
