Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher were seen relaxing in Regents Park, London, following Ashton Kutcher’s controversial remarks on AI’s role in filmmaking. Kutcher’s comments sparked debate within the industry about the impact of technology on creativity and job security.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher were recently spotted strolling through Regents Park in London, marking their first public appearance since Kutcher faced backlash for his comments on artificial intelligence (AI) in filmmaking. The couple, Kunis, 40, and Kutcher, 46, appeared relaxed and were seen enjoying coffee during their walk. Kunis wore a pale orange hoodie and ripped light blue jeans, while Kutcher donned a black blazer with grey trousers and a black baseball cap.

Kutcher’s controversial remarks were made during a discussion with former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, where he suggested that AI, specifically OpenAI’s generative video tool Sora, could create entire movies. Critics, including some from the film industry, expressed concerns that such technology could undermine the creative and collaborative aspects of filmmaking and potentially lead to job losses.

Kutcher described the potential of Sora to generate videos and stated that it could produce realistic footage inexpensively. He highlighted its capability by giving an example of rendering a video of a marathoner running through a sandstorm. Despite his enthusiasm, reactions were mixed, with some criticizing his view as shortsighted and potentially harmful to the industry.

Kutcher’s statement came shortly after Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos addressed similar concerns, asserting that AI should be seen as a tool to enhance, rather than replace, human creativity in the entertainment industry.
