MSI Unveils Meg Vision X AI PC at Computex 2024
MSI introduced its latest gaming desktop, the Meg Vision X AI, during Computex 2024 in Taiwan. The Meg Vision X AI is part of MSI’s evolving Vision gaming PC line, first showcased at CES 2024. The desktop features the MSI MEG MAESTRO 700L PZ case with a distinctive wraparound glass panel offering a 270-degree view of its interior components, enhanced by RGB lighting.
A unique feature of the Meg Vision X AI is its front touchscreen, designed for easy access to the PC’s onboard AI capabilities. Users can interact with a local AI chatbot to perform tasks such as generating images and text or summarizing documents stored on the PC. This functionality is powered by MSI’s proprietary “AI Engine” running locally on the machine.
Details regarding the exact CPU and GPU configurations are still under wraps, but it’s anticipated that the desktop will support cutting-edge Nvidia GeForce RTX 4000 series graphics cards. The pricing and specific release date for the Meg Vision X AI are expected to be announced later in 2024.
In terms of advanced AI integration, the possibility of including Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Plus or Snapdragon X Elite chips is also noted, which would enable high-performance AI features on Windows 11.
MSI continues to innovate in the gaming market with this addition to its lineup, blending high-performance gaming with advanced AI functionality.
