Leading investors Lightspeed Venture Partners and Pantera Capital join in funding round to support Nexus Laboratories’ mission of making zero-knowledge proofs accessible to developers in AI, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.

Nexus Laboratories, a Web3 startup specializing in zero-knowledge privacy tools for areas such as AI, cybersecurity, and cloud computing, has secured $25 million in a Series A funding round. Leading the round were Lightspeed Venture Partners and Pantera Capital, with additional participation from Dragonfly Capital, Faction Ventures, and Blockchain Builders Fund. This brings the total raised by Nexus to $27.2 million, following a $2.2 million seed round in 2022.

Nexus aims to advance zero-knowledge proofs, making them affordable and accessible to developers. CEO Daniel Marin emphasized the significance of this technology as a fundamental step akin to the advent of the Internet and AI. Nexus plans to allocate the new funds towards accelerating market efforts and expanding its engineering team, along with supporting early-stage product deployments.
