NovoEd Introduces AI-Powered Tools to Revolutionise Workforce Learning

San Francisco, August 14, 2024 – NovoEd, a prominent company in the realm of global workforce learning platforms, has unveiled NovoAI, a suite of artificial intelligence tools designed to enhance the scalability and effectiveness of corporate learning programs. The new features are set to simplify and expedite various components of learning, from program authoring to administration and delivery.

The innovative offerings of NovoAI include:

  • AI Translation: Facilitating multilingual training within a single course environment.
  • AI Quiz Generation: Automating the creation of quiz questions relevant to specified content.
  • AI Captions & Transcripts: Ensuring video content is accessible to learners of varying abilities and preferences.
  • AI Summary & Key Takeaways: Summarizing content for better comprehension of essential concepts.
  • AI Practice Insights: Delivering prompt feedback on video and audio practice.
  • AI Discussion Prompts: Generating discussion prompts tailored to content and learning objectives.
  • AI Discussion Insights: Synthesising discussion themes and encouraging engagement from diverse perspectives.

NovoEd claims that the continuous development of NovoAI aims to provide increasing value to learning organisations. The platform is particularly geared towards protecting sensitive corporate data and intellectual property, featuring fully encrypted AI models and compliance with SOC 2 type 2 standards.

Scott Kinney, CEO and Chairman of NovoEd, emphasised a careful integration of AI features to assist Learning and Development (L&D) and Human Resources (HR) leaders in achieving more with limited resources. “These tools support and enhance the human interactions core to our platform and to learning science,” Kinney stated.

Kinney also highlighted the strategic importance of AI in the current business landscape, as organisations transition from individual experimentation to comprehensive implementation aimed at improving productivity and maintaining competitive market share.

To assist organisations in getting up to speed with these new tools, NovoEd offers a free two-week Learning Experience GenAI course (LXGenAI), with the next session starting on September 9.

Founded in 2012 at Stanford’s Social Algorithms Lab, NovoEd has established itself as a key player in delivering high-impact learning experiences. The platform supports a variety of learning formats such as self-paced, hybrid, blended, cohort-based, one-to-one, and team-based learning, and is trusted by global organisations like 3M, Marriott, and Nestlé.

This latest development illustrates NovoEd’s commitment to utilising advanced technology to refine and expand corporate learning capabilities, promising an impactful change in how businesses approach employee development and training.
