OneSix, a key player in data services, has acquired Strong Analytics, a consultancy specialising in Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The merger aims to enhance OneSix’s offerings by combining expertise and providing end-to-end AI solutions for clients.

OneSix, a prominent player in data services, has announced its acquisition of Strong Analytics, a consultancy specialising in Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This strategic move aims to enhance OneSix’s capabilities by integrating Strong Analytics’ expertise, thereby offering an end-to-end service for clients navigating the AI and data sectors.

The merged entity will aim to be among the first to bridge the gap between data engineering, ML, and AI services, providing a holistic solution for enterprises seeking to harness the transformative power of AI. This integration marks a significant milestone in the evolving landscape of data and AI-driven business solutions.

The talent pool of the integrated company will comprise Data Scientists, Data Engineers, ML and AI Engineers, and Specialists in Large Language Model Operations (LLM Ops). This multidisciplinary team will focus on addressing various client challenges, such as developing next-best-action engines and creating AI agents to optimise customer service operations.

Industry veteran Dave Kilimnik, formerly the CEO of Hero Digital, will take the helm as acting Chief Executive Officer of OneSix. Kilimnik expressed optimism about the acquisition, calling it a “game-changer” for both OneSix and its clients. “By uniting our capabilities,” Kilimnik said, “we are setting a new standard in the industry, providing a seamless integration of data and AI solutions that will empower enterprises to unlock the transformative value of AI and drive meaningful business outcomes.”

Strong Analytics, co-founded by Brock Ferguson and Jacob Zweig, brings extensive cross-industry experience to the table. The team has previously deployed ML and AI solutions across sectors such as Financial Services, Pharmaceuticals, and Technology, catering to mid-market and enterprise clients.

“We are thrilled to be part of OneSix,” said Brock Ferguson, Co-Founder of Strong Analytics. “Our shared vision and complementary strengths will enable us to set a new benchmark for excellence in delivering AI and data-driven solutions to our clients.”

Additionally, OneSix’s partnership with Snowflake, a leading data cloud company, is expected to expand significantly. This growth aligns with projections that Snowflake’s software revenue will increase from $2 billion today to $10 billion by 2029. While many partners focus on migrating data to Snowflake’s cloud infrastructure, OneSix aims to differentiate itself by helping clients derive actionable insights and value from their data through advanced ML and AI applications.

OneSix, established as a data engineering company, assists enterprises in building strategies, technologies, and teams to leverage their data effectively. The company has formed strategic alliances with various technology firms, including Snowflake, Matillion, Fivetran, and Pyramid Analytics, to offer scalable and modern data solutions.

Strong Analytics, prior to its acquisition by OneSix, operated under the ownership of Advantage Solutions Inc., providing custom ML software and solutions. The firm boasted a team of seasoned ML scientists and engineers dedicated to solving complex problems for various industries.
