SentinelOne expands its partnership with Google Cloud to improve enterprise cyber defenses through deeper integration of AI-driven endpoint protection and advanced threat intelligence capabilities.

SentinelOne and Google Cloud Enhance Cybersecurity Collaboration

SentinelOne, a prominent player in AI-powered cybersecurity, has announced a significant expansion of its partnership with Google Cloud to bolster enterprise cyber defenses. This development was revealed during a press release today in Las Vegas.

The collaboration will see SentinelOne’s AI-driven endpoint protection integrate more deeply with Google Cloud’s expansive threat intelligence capabilities. The aim is to enhance the security posture of enterprise customers by offering adaptive, intelligence-led solutions to mitigate cyber threats.

Sandra Joyce, Vice President of Google Threat Intelligence, remarked on the partnership, highlighting the goal to reduce the business impact of cyber threats. Joyce underscored the importance of working with market leaders like SentinelOne to deliver dynamic telemetry and generative AI capabilities that can drive stronger security outcomes.

This announcement represents a new chapter in the strategic alliance between the two companies. An essential feature of their deepened collaboration is the sharing of telemetry data, which will enrich both companies’ security insights. This data sharing is expected to empower organizations to better protect against evolving threats. SentinelOne plans to leverage this data alongside Google’s Gemini 1.5 Pro and Flash models to enhance the autonomous capabilities of its Purple AI and Singularity Platform.

Ric Smith, Chief Technology and Product Officer of SentinelOne, emphasised Google Cloud’s leadership in online security and how this partnership will fuse the best of security and threat intelligence services with advanced AI-based protection. Smith indicated that this would bring Google Cloud’s intelligence to SentinelOne customers and enhance Mandiant’s managed security services with SentinelOne’s endpoint protection.

The companies plan to further educate the cybersecurity community about their integrated solutions during the upcoming Black Hat conference, followed by the mWISE Conference in September and SentinelOne OneCon in October.

This enhanced collaboration is poised to set a new standard in large-scale cybersecurity operations, leveraging the cutting-edge technologies of both organizations to protect enterprises from an increasing array of cyber threats.
