Apple is preparing to launch the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models at the WWDC, showcasing advanced AI capabilities and larger displays. The upcoming lineup is expected to bring significant enhancements in design and technology, including new camera features, A18 chip, and improved battery life.

Apple is set to unveil the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) next week. Expected to launch in September, the iPhone 16 lineup is anticipated to feature advanced AI capabilities and larger displays. The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are rumored to have screen sizes of 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches, respectively, with thinner bezels and potentially peak brightness of 1,200 nits.

Key design features include a new capture button for video, an action button upgrade to capacitive touch, and a vertically stacked rear camera array on base models. All models will reportedly use the A18 chip, with the Pro versions running on A18 Pro for enhanced AI functions. Improved battery life through stacked battery technology and upgraded WiFi chips are also expected.

Pricing remains speculative, but if Apple maintains its current strategy, the iPhone 16 series could start from £799 for the base model. The tech giant is also rumored to debut several AI-driven features through iOS 18, potentially enhancing Siri and other native applications.

The iPhone 16 leak points to more significant upgrades compared to the iPhone 15’s incremental changes. The official reveal is anticipated in early September, with availability expected by mid-September.
