InfoComm 2024, a prominent AV industry event, will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from June 8-14. Ken Frommert, President of ENCO, shared insights on upcoming trends and their booth’s focus during the event.
The key trend at this year’s InfoComm is expected to be Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly in applications such as speech-to-text conversion, live captioning, and real-time multilingual translation. ENCO will spotlight its Qimera virtual production system, which includes AR, VR, and XR capabilities powered by Unreal Engine. This system is designed for diverse use cases, including corporate video productions.
ENCO will also demonstrate enCaption Sierra for automated live captioning and enTranslate for real-time translation with AI-generated overdubs. Additionally, this InfoComm will see the debut of AiM, a text-to-speech product utilizing synthetic voice for instant audio creation.
Frommert emphasized the inspiration drawn from customer projects and trends observed at InfoComm, highlighting the importance of networking and the potential for leveraging new technologies in innovative ways.
