Huawei, based in Shenzhen, is at the forefront of advancing digital government transformation globally by partnering with countries and cities to enhance economies and governance structures. Through advanced ICT solutions, Huawei has enabled rapid enterprise registration and service delivery in minutes while revolutionising public healthcare and education sectors with smart classrooms and medical technology digitalisation.

Huawei Advances Digital Government Transformation Worldwide

Shenzhen, China – Shenzhen, one of the most efficient cities in China, achieves enterprise registration and approval in less than one minute, thanks to advanced digital infrastructure. Huawei, a leading ICT provider headquartered in Shenzhen, has assisted 53 government departments in migrating over 230 core services to the cloud, illustrating the global trend of digital transformation among governments.

At the Mobile World Congress 2024 in Barcelona, Wind Li, CEO of Huawei’s Global Public Sector BU, emphasized the significance of a systematic approach to digital government transformation, launching several solutions, including Public Services Intelligent Transformation White Paper, National Cloud 2.0 Solution, Smart Classroom 3.0 Solution, Medical Technology Digitalization Solution, and the Tax Administration Digitalisation White Paper.

By leveraging ICT solutions, Huawei has partnered with over 120 countries and 700 cities to enhance digital economies and governance structures. The company’s intelligent architecture for government services spans multiple layers like intelligent sensing and AI applications, aimed at promoting more inclusive public services.

Implementations in Public Healthcare and Education

Huawei’s AI and digital solutions are transforming education and healthcare sectors globally. In Serbia, Huawei assisted in creating smart classrooms in over 200 schools, fostering digitalized education. Ningxia University in China also developed an intelligent teaching ecosystem with Huawei, incorporating 300 futuristic classrooms for flexible teaching.

In the healthcare sector, Huawei’s digital initiatives have significantly enhanced service delivery. The Health Bureau of Longgang District in Shenzhen established a regional medical imaging platform, facilitating data sharing among 12 hospitals. Similarly, Ruijin Hospital in Shanghai has implemented a smart pathology department, vastly improving data retrieval speeds.

Overall, Huawei’s ICT investments illustrate the impact of digitalization on governance and public service efficiency, indicating a broader global shift toward innovative e-services.
