Pune, India – Police investigating a recent accident involving a Porsche have prepared a crash impact analysis report with the aid of a forensic expert from the Indian Army. The report aims to establish a correlation between the Porsche’s impact on a bike and the injuries sustained by two deceased IT professionals, Anish Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta. The incident occurred on May 19 in the Kalyani Nagar area of Pune.
According to the investigation, the car, allegedly driven by a 17-year-old son of a builder, collided with the bike under the influence of alcohol. Koshta, who was riding pillion, was thrown onto the car’s windshield upon impact.
The police have acquired extensive CCTV footage and conducted a ‘Crash Impact Assessment’ by reenacting the accident with similar physical profiles and vehicles. This report will be crucial in affirming that the Porsche car was involved in the accident.
Additionally, the police had planned a digital reconstruction of the accident scene using AI-based tools and software to better understand the sequence of events. The juvenile driver remains in an observation home, while his parents are in police custody for allegedly attempting to swap blood samples.
